Starting with a provided CGI render, your task is to make it look photorealistic. Don't worry - with Alex's expert guidance, you'll soon be compositing realistic images with precision and confidence.
Integrating a CGI (Computer Generated Image) render into a real scene
Render layers (AOVs) inside of Nuke, and how to break them apart
Create dynamic lens flares based off of source imagery
Studying shadow & light, and how to match the real world

Master the art of matching color tones, darks, highlights, and using utility passes for spot corrections. You'll explore a variety of uses for different passes and employ ID passes to correct various parts of the render.
Take your CGI skills to the next level by learning how to match camera attributes including Defocus, Grain, Bokeh, and Lens Distortion.
Create post-production camera imperfections and artifacts that add depth and realism to your scenes. Delve into compositing elements and FX into a shot, and creating water drips in Nuke with light interaction.
